A concept art for a comic which takes place in the future. Simulated reality allows individuals to obtain physical and muscular memory despite having no "real" experience with anything. In this case, people who got access to military training sims could be better trained than actual spec op soldiers. This allows idealists, extremists, and upset civilians to take action and become as well equipped and trained as a military personnel.

Sounds very interesting. You could do a lot with an idea like that.
"what's real and not?"
"what's right or wrong?"
"who deserves death and who deserves life?"
"can we trust our governments, let alone ourselves?"

You should seriously keep going with that idea. Has real potential :)

Thanks! It was actually an idea developed by my collaborator. His original idea was to explore the "morality" in what people wanted their simulations to be. I.e. some people could get rape simulations if they wanted to, and enjoy their messed up fetishes but act like genuinely nice people in "reality". Some questions the comic would ask is, is that really fucked up? or is it just a simulation of thought and thus private? Is this not simply an extension of the sexual fantasies some individuals have? Should they be prosecuted for such thoughts? Are immoral thoughts considered a crime? Overall the comic argues that crimes taking place in "reality" has been irrevocably reduced as people are essentially drugged under the effects of these simulations where they spend hours simply dreaming.

I thought the idea was awesome, but actually I asked him to fully develop the idea while I get better at the art aspect before we started the comic, that way we could do this idea justice. Thanks for the comment :) we definitely will keep going with it.
