It was beautifully done, and I went and pulled up a youtube video of Charr's final words to read in sync with the comic (found one inaccuracy towards the end of the comic, but it still worked great).
I'll definitely be saving these pages to my collection. Thank you.
First, the obligatory: So much better than the ending...
Secondly, *Amazing* work. So amazing I had to superfluously capitalize that "a" there.
I had to actually stop reading it to compose myself because I started tearing up on page 6.
The writing and the art sold it hard, and for a few pages, I believed in the universe again. And I say this as someone who got a copy of an "official" Mass Effect comic (the one about Liara trying to recover Shepard's body) and could not get through five pages because it didn't feel right after 3's ending.
Kudos to you and Grey. Hope you two are tapped for something more official because you definitely earned it there.
Haha, that's very kind of you to say, thank you it really means a lot to me that you're comparing ours to the official comics. We're definitely hoping to do more of these in the future when the opportunity arises.
I might be drunk to the point of delirium right now (had to rewrite this line along six times fuck ya grammar nazi imppulzzies)
so much potential
the comic hits it just righgt: me3 had so much potential to be a deeply personal tour through war - yet became a "amas X number of point to get Y result"
I pray to the dark gods that the lead writer on that team gets mongled by individuals with objects of uncomfortably large and unlubricated object
